Over the years, as our events have grown and evolved, we have travelled deeper into increasingly challenging terrain and landscapes.
One of the greatest obstacles we must face within this challenging landscape is the deployment of safety staff and our medical team into remote locations. To reach the distant trails and highest points on the mountain by 4×4 is possible but often complicated as access lanes are congested and trails are often narrow.
Last year, when a participant took a nasty fall out on the trails, we needed to deploy our medics rapidly. The short journey from base camp to the injured participant was no more than 3kms. However, with congested country lanes and narrow trails, even with our competent and trusty 4×4 the journey took well over 30minutes.

The solution to this obstacle is a partnership with BMW Motorrad and the introduction of a motorcycle that is built for demanding terrains and any off-road challenge. Built for adventure, and ready for a journey into the unknown – on asphalt or off-road – the F 850 GS Adventure is the perfect partner for SUPBIKERUN.
Using the F 850 GS Adventure at every event, we will be able to deploy our remote safety marshals out on the trails with ease and efficiency. Most importantly, should a participant require emergency assistance out on the trails, we can deploy a medic (1st responder) with basic kit out to the location rapidly. As we strive to make our events as safe and as adventurous as possible, we are confident that our partnership with BMW Motorrad will only help to strengthen the safety we offer our participants.
